About Kenn Ellis, Managing Broker at Century 21 Sandcastle Realty
Hi, I'm Kenn Ellis the managing broker here at Century 21 Sandcastle Realty in Aptos, California. Though my office is in Aptos, I help buy and sell Real Estate all over Santa Cruz County and beyond. I’ve always done a tremendous amount of business in Scotts Valley where I live and raise my family.
A California native, I was born in southern California but moved to a little town in the Central Valley called Dos Palos where I grew up. My senior year in high school I was voted by my classmates "Most Likely To Succeed", something I'm still very proud of.

After high school I graduated from CSU Stanislaus with a bachelors degree in Business. Soon after my college graduation I got a job as an assistant manager at a F.W. Woolworths store in Oroville California. Eventually I became the general manager of the Woolworths store in Oxnard California, a job I held until Woolworths began closing their doors. Once my store was closed I relocated to Santa Cruz where I decided to pursue a career in Real Estate by joining Century 21 Lad Realty(now Sandcastle). I fell in love with the Century 21 system back in 1994 and twenty-five years later I still work at the same office, though now I'm the Managing Broker.
I feel one of my biggest assets to my clients is that I've lived all over Santa Cruz County and am intimately familiar with many different areas.
I've been married to my wonderful wife Christine since 1997. I actually met her the very first day of my freshman year in college, if you can believe that. We have three children, sons Logan, Matthew and our daughter Anna. Logan joined the Marine Corps within days of his high school graduation and was deployed in the Phillipines as well as Irag during his tenure. Those were very scary years for me but he made it home safe and has turned into the type of son, husband and father I had always hoped he would, I couldn't be more proud of Logan, My daughter Anna is a graduate of Scotts Valley High School and is currently enrolled in Cabrillo College while she works just about full time at the Buttery bakery in Santa Cruz. Matt is a senior at Scotts Valley High School.
As I mentioned, I have been selling Real Estate here in Santa Cruz County since 1994 and have sold property in all areas of our county as well as Santa Clara, San Benito and Monterey Counties. I love working with sellers but my absolute favorite type of clients are the first time home buyers, as they are always so excited and nervous about their first big purchase.
